Information we may collect from you

We collect information about you when you trade with us to place an order for products and services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions.

  • Information you provide by filling in forms on the website, including but not limited to information provided at the time of requesting or subscribing to any service, or becoming a registered user or if you enter any competition or promotion sponsored by us;

If you agree, we shall pass on your personal information to our group of companies so that they may offer you products and services.

Strathclyde Nutrition Ltd will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside of the Harbro Group.

In processing your order, we may send your details to and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.

You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your personal information and/or user information, we are entitled to do so.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services of ours and other companies in our group which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing information, you may opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop us contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to other members of the Harbro Group.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking or un-checking (as directed) certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.

IP addresses, cookies and hyperlinks 

We collect information about your computer including, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual. For the same reason we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive. They help us to improve our website and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us to:

Process and storing information

The data that we collect from you is processed by employees who work either for us or one of our group companies or for one of our service providers.
